Edna Harding [00:00:49]:
Welcome back to the Entrepreneur Podcast. And I am Edna Harding, your guide to this journey of blending timeless wisdom and the realities of life and business. Today, we're diving into a topic that might just redefine how you see your current season. First of all, if you guys are new here, welcome. I'm so glad you tuned in today because I know it's not an accident that you are listening to this episode. And for those of you guys who are my regular audience or my awesome audience, I'm so excited you guys are here to gather some more wisdom nuggets from the bible. Okay? And so let me just start off by saying, how many of you guys experienced a lot of, especially my believers, a lot of warfare this week? How many of you guys? Am I the only one? Oh my gosh. It's been just relentless, warfare.
Edna Harding [00:01:53]:
When I say warfare, more spiritual warfare. I have I've been struggling with my just being able to concentrate sometimes in the word of God. I know it's a lot of mental warfare, just from a fatigue, just from exhaustion, and the enemy opened my eyes to see what was going on. And, obviously, for those of you guys who don't believe in witchcraft, that's fine. You don't have to believe in it, but it exists. There's a lot of ammunition going against the body of Christ right now, specifically those who are seeking his face and really asking the Lord for instructions, especially those who are honoring, you know, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and Sukkot, the holy time of the days of awe. Like, it's it's been exhausting. And so if I sound a little bit tired today, just bear with me, guys.
Edna Harding [00:02:48]:
Just know that I am sitting here recording this by the grace of God. And I also know that, God is in charge, and the Holy Spirit is my strength. And so, but today, I wanted to talk about something that I think it's really relevant. As you guys know, we're entering into the fall season. I'm talking about in the natural. And and, for those of you guys who haven't listened to my season's episode, I think it's season 4. Really listen to it because I'm not just talking about the natural seasons. I'm talking about in the spirit as well.
Edna Harding [00:03:24]:
And just mind you, just because it's fall in the natural doesn't mean it's fall in the spirit. Okay? It it doesn't go off of their natural calendar. It actually goes off of the spiritual realm. Now to some of you guys are like, what are you talking about? And now that's okay. We're gonna keep it, pretty plain today. Well, it's not really plain, obviously. Every time when I share, wisdom from the Bible, a lot of times people are like, oh my gosh. Like, how did you get that? This awesome revelation.
Edna Harding [00:03:56]:
But in reality, it's always been there. These revelations has always been in the word of God. It's just it just takes hunger. You just need to be hungry to get some new insight or new revelation from the Bible that's been read over many, many times for 1,000 and 1,000,000 and 1,000,000 of people. But why is it that some people get more out of it than others? And I really think it boils down to hunger. It has nothing to do with intellect. It has nothing to do. Oh my gosh.
Edna Harding [00:04:25]:
I'm holy, and I know more than you. You know, I really think it's like you just really need a hunger for God and thirst for God and really want him more than anything else this world can bring in. As I'm saying this specifically to my go getters out there and those who have a, you know, a thriving dream that a dream that that is just beyond their means, and all they're doing is, like, focusing on the dream versus focusing on the God of the dream. Does that make sense? And so it's just a challenge to you guys, just an encouragement to you guys that, you know, although I'm a vessel and I'm sharing the insuff in the bible, you too can get insight and revelation from the word of God just by spending time with him and just loving on him and wanting to know him. My advice is to know his I I don't know where this is not in my notes, by the way, guys. I'm just I feel like this is where God wants me to speak to right now is, like, understand the character of God first. I think if you wanted to take your spiritual life to the next level, know the characteristics of God. Because, unfortunately, we are living in a time where a lot of people can say, well, this is a God thing.
Edna Harding [00:05:42]:
This is the God thing. This is from God. But does it go against the character of God? Does it go against who he is? And a lot of times, people cannot discern or, distinguish between good and evil because they don't know what good is, like, meaning according to the word of God. And a lot of times, it's not so obvious because, remember, the enemy is really good at disguising himself as light. So a lot of us, even the elite is going to be fooled. And so I just feel like this is such a warning for the body of Christ that at the end of the day well, it's not at the end of the day, but in the reality of it is we are entering into a season where discernment and wisdom and hearing the voice of God is more needed than ever, because we are walking into it's like a what I'm seeing, like, a spider web of lies. That's what I'm seeing in the spirit right now. And so as a sister in Christ and as a voice in the marketplace specifically for the body of Christ, you really need to hone in to the ears of God.
Edna Harding [00:06:58]:
I mean, hone in your ears to the voice of God and really see things from his perspective, but that needs to come first before anything else because let me tell you that the world and the views and, whether if it's somewhat a man's view or some press release or some new technology or something, you know, divine insight, you know, that doesn't come from God, it can really cloud your judgment and really, cloud what he's saying this hour. And so I guess someone needed to hear that. Like, if you're going through that season of, like, overwhelm and, like, not really having clarity on what exactly you need to be focusing on this on or what your instruction is from the Lord, that means you have too much noise going on, and you really need to step into a place of just listening and hearing the voice of God through reading his word or just sitting there and just listening to and remember, he doesn't he does he's not gonna fight for your attention. You have to want him. He wants you to desire him more sorry. I guess my back is hurting. More than anything this world can bring. Okay? And so, see, you know, I feel like this is a message that the Lord really wants to release, which is why all of a sudden my body is uncomfortable.
Edna Harding [00:08:24]:
So I'm just gonna pray for myself, if you guys don't mind. Father, in the name of Jesus, I submit my body to you, lord god, and I thank you, father, that you are in control over everything on this show, god, that you, lord god, have gone before me and that your angelic host is assisting me, father. Lord, I pray that you give me the words to release, Lord, to my brothers and sisters who are listening on the other side. And I pray, oh, God, that they will fill your tangible presence and fill your tangible love and that your glory will be released in the airwaves in the mighty name of Jesus. Bind every attack of the enemy. And I pray, oh god, that every distraction is being dismantled now, and may the power of your holy spirit be evident in our lives today and for the rest of our days in Jesus' name. Alright. So now back to what I originally wanted to talk about, which are seasons.
Edna Harding [00:09:19]:
Seasons are decided by who you trust. K? Seasons are decided by who you trust. K? Who you trust, I want you guys to hear this part, directly impacts the season you're walking in right now. Who you trust has a direct impact on the season you're walking in right now. But I wanna say that it's much deeper than you think. Now stay with me because I'm going to push you to think about the people you allow to shape your focus, the battles you're willing to face, the weaknesses you're willing to address, and the mentors you choose to guide you. And, yes, this might get a little uncomfortable, my friends, but growth rarely happens in our comfort zones. Right? So let's go ahead and get into it.
Edna Harding [00:10:14]:
Again, this show is about challenging the norm and doing the thing that we ought to so that not what we want to. Right? Not not something so I think the holy spirit. Do the things that we ought to do, not the things that we want to do. Because a lot of times, the things that we have to do are not necessarily the things we want to do. So what does that mean? It means that you might have to not focus on your business right now and focus on your soul work right now. It means that you may have to go after the little guys instead of going after the big guys. Like, you have to be flexible. Right? You have to receive whatever correction God wants to put on you or to share with you and obey it.
Edna Harding [00:11:05]:
Okay? So now I wanna start with the first thing that I mentioned, which is focus. You know, it's not really a word that needs to be glossed over. K? Because it's a direction that you're walking in. It shapes your daily decisions, and it truly makes a big difference in your walk, in your season that you have on by addressing what you focus on. So let me ask you this. Whose words hold the most weight in your mind? Right? Is it God's voice, or is it the voices of doubt around you? Is it God's voice, or is it your own your own voice that's self sabotaging you? Right? Is it God's voice, or is it the lies of the enemy saying this is not the best time to start your business, and this is not the best time to go full force? This is not the best time to, you know, apply for that loan. This is not the best time to buy that house. Right? So just understand that the world has their own systems and the world has their own wisdom, but God has his own.
Edna Harding [00:12:19]:
And as long as if it's God who's telling you, you can't go wrong. Now the challenge that we have is a lot of people can't decipher between the voice of God and the voice of man or themselves. Right? So if you're finding yourself constantly, anxious sorry. As fearful or overwhelmed, I want you to ask yourself, who have I been listening to? Now I want you guys to think about Joshua and Caleb where 10 other spies saw giants, but Joshua and Caleb, what did they see? They saw God's promise. Right? But the thing that's interesting is they chose to trust God's word over the voices of fear, panic. They they chose to trust God's word over the voices, the millions of other voices that said the opposite. Right? So they didn't follow the masses. They didn't follow the popular opinion.
Edna Harding [00:13:15]:
They chose to believe God's instructions and God's promise and what God told them. Right? And what did that trust do? It defined their season. Right? They entered a season of boldness. They entered a season of promise, of possibilities. And the others, what did they do? They wandered in the wilderness. Right? So I want you to ask yourself, like, are you wandering in a wilderness season because you've been listening to the wrong voices? Because how many of you guys can honestly feel and say that you're in a wilderness season? Now understand that there will come moments of wilderness seasons. Right? There will be times when you will experience the valleys and the lows of your life. I've experienced it countless times, but there's it's a season.
Edna Harding [00:14:10]:
You're not supposed to stay there. Right? So a lot of times, what I found, especially with working with numerous leaders and and business owners, is that they tend to stick to a season that's no longer relevant to their current situation. So it's like the jail cell is open, but you're still staying behind the jail cell. You don't wanna step out of your jail cell. You it's because it got you've gotten so comfortable in that fight or flight, position. You're always on defense instead of offense. And you know what's funny? As I'm talking, I'm, like, preaching to myself, you know, because I I I deal with this all the time. It's like I got used to experiencing battles after battles after battles that when I came to a season of rest, I didn't even get to appreciate the season of rest because I thought there was another battle coming in.
Edna Harding [00:15:08]:
So you, like, you missed your moment because you're so focused on the things that you think is about to happen because it's been a constant battle after battle after battle after battle. So I want you guys to take a hard look at what you're feeding your mind. Okay? So this is let's get practical for this particular piece. For 30 days, I want you to cut out influences that only amplify fear, confusion, or doubt. Did you hear that? So what does that mean, guys? We have elections coming up. Right? And we have a lot of voices out there. Whether if it's true or not, sometimes the heart of behind the messages isn't coming out of love, but it's coming out of acquisition, it's coming out of strife, and it's coming out of division. And so my tip for you and my personal challenge is you for the next 30 days, you cut those voices out and remove anything that amplifies fear, confusion, and doubt.
Edna Harding [00:16:16]:
Fear, confusion, and doubt. Fear, confusion, and doubt. And so if you're starting to experiencing those experience those things when you're listening to someone or talking to someone, cut them out for 30 days. Just for 30 days. Fast from those negative influence. So you turn down the volume on negativity and increase the volume on voices that reinforce faith, vision, and truth. Right? So what does that mean? You just replace the few minutes of news with scripture. Right? You could swap a toxic conversation with a prayer walk.
Edna Harding [00:16:51]:
I wanna address gossip and slander. This is something sometimes that I struggle with, especially if someone has hurt me, and I wanna talk to, like, a prayer warrior or talk to somebody that that, just to vent. And we have to be very careful that it doesn't turn into gossip. It could start out as a genuine concern, and then it turns into gossip. And I had I repented from that. And, you know, sometimes I don't realize that's happening, and so I have to constantly be checking myself. But, like, okay. Are you sharing this really to pray for them generally or to gossip about them? Right? And I know it sounds so elementary, but this area right here is the one door that a lot of people in the body of Christ open on a regular basis so that the enemy can attack them.
Edna Harding [00:17:42]:
So if you're in so, anyway, those three things that I mentioned, if I just sum it all up because of time's sake, is you wanna eliminate those three things from your life as much as possible. And then from there, I want you to see how your focus shifts. Right? You'll be amazed. You guys will be surely amazed at what happens when you change what you focus on. Alright? Number 2, let's talk about enemies. Yes. The battles you're willing to confront. Okay.
Edna Harding [00:18:14]:
So let's be real for a second. Right? Who or what are you running from? Yeah. I purposely paused there because I want you to write it down. Who or what are you running from? Is it the fear of failure? Is it the tough conversations? Is it your past that's haunting you? Is it standing before Goliath? Right? Or is it maybe even the call God has placed in your life? And your Goliath, you know, I'm thinking of David. Right? Your Goliath can be any big thing that could be blocking you from stepping into the full promise of God. You know, I want you to remind we might remember what David did. Everyone else ran, but David, excuse me, didn't see a giant. He saw an opportunity to prove God's power.
Edna Harding [00:19:16]:
So it wasn't just about David's bravery. It was about his trust. He trusted God's ability to deliver over his own ability to fight. And remember that trust changed his season from a shepherd in the field to a warrior in the palace. Okay? So I want you to ask yourself, could it be that the breakthrough that you've been praying for is on the other side of the battle you've been avoiding? I want you guys to really think about this because I don't know about you guys. You know, I don't like conflicts. I don't like confrontation, but it's like sometimes the fire of God just consumes me. The holy, righteous anger of God, there's another way of saying it, is I don't like having these debates or having these strong opinionated conversations, because I just like, well, that's between them and you, god.
Edna Harding [00:20:17]:
Like, what do I need to get involved? And and it sucks because I hate to be, like, so submissive to God. Because if he tells me to do something and he won't let it go, meaning my stomach starts hurting, I start shaking, and I have to say something, I end up saying it. And it it it could mean losing friendships. It could be but I want to personally address that spirit that's keeping my friend or my sister or my brother or my family member, my parents bond in bondage. Right? It's my responsibility as a child of God to shed light on that dark thing that's hiding. When I say dark thing, I'm talking about that spirit that's keeping them in bondage. And so don't be afraid of being on the offensive and attacking that enemy. Right? You don't have to always show love.
Edna Harding [00:21:16]:
Like, god is also a god of truth. He's a God of justice. He's a God of righteousness. And if if it means, you know, pointing it out, the the lie and speaking truth with love because, again, that's the caveat is a lot of people don't speak in love. Like, those of you guys who've had I don't know if you guys are listening, who've had heated arguments with me or heated conversations. I mean, the arguments, but differences and views. I have these conversations. I'm firm, but you know I love you.
Edna Harding [00:21:50]:
You know my heart, and it's because that's just how God handles me. You know? Like, you can't give what you don't receive. And so, you know, instead of running thank you, holy spirit. I think I feel like so a lot of the church, when they go to do bad stuff, instead of confronting it head on with God and be like, okay, God. I I'm struggling with this. I'm I'm struggling with, you know, lust. I'm struggling with, worry. I'm struggling with stress.
Edna Harding [00:22:22]:
I'm struggling with envy. I'm struggling with bitterness. Instead of, like, confronting it with God, we run away. And when you run away from that and you don't confess your sins, whether if it's to God or to a brother and sister, you're basically not facing the enemy head on, and you're allowing the enemy to pounce on you. Because when when the enemy has your foothold, meaning when the enemy, when you give way to the enemy about your you know, as far as an unconfessed sin or as far as continuing in the way that you should know you should not go, meaning you're not deceived, but you're rebelling against the truth of God's word, you you then stop addressing the enemy head on and you become cowards and you run away from the enemy versus going to Goliath and be like, hey. I see you. I hear you. My god's gonna help me overcome you and overtake you.
Edna Harding [00:23:22]:
Right? And as you could see, it didn't come from our own strength. Some sins is not something that that you would, you know, struggle with. So for me, I struggle with lust a lot, and that was something that I struggle with at a very young age. And even sometimes when I got married, like, I was like, oh my gosh. You You know? I started you know, I'm not gonna go into details, but I struggle. I didn't I didn't, you know, cheat on anybody, but I was you know, I started thinking things. And so I just wanted to say that before someone takes this out of, you know, what's that word, out of context. But I started thinking things, and I'm like, no.
Edna Harding [00:24:06]:
Stop. Even if it's about your husband. You know? Like, for me, like, I like, mine was about my husband. Right? And it was the things before, you know, we got married, you know, stuff like that. And so we have to I I know that's too much information for you guys, but my point is, like, we really need to address those things and be be vulnerable to God and be like, okay, God. These thoughts still keep popping up in my head. Obviously, you know, these are temptations that I haven't really, like, killed yet, so help me address these temptations. And and those are what I'm those is what I mean about addressing the giants.
Edna Harding [00:24:46]:
The giants doesn't necessarily have to be an outside force. The giants could be inside of you. The the giant could be your inner man that you're dealing with. Does that make sense? Alright. So I want you guys as a personal challenge, I want you guys to take a moment this week and identify your Goliath, that thing that keeps showing up in your life. And instead of running, I want you guys to confront it. Start with a small step. Maybe it's finally setting boundaries in a toxic relationship, or maybe it's even launching that business idea you've been sitting on.
Edna Harding [00:25:20]:
Okay? I want you to not let fear define your season and trust that god is enough to face your battles. Alright? Alright. Next, I want you guys to turn inward and focus on our weaknesses. I know no one likes to talk about this part, but the truth is trust in god's means trusting him enough to be honest about your flaws. You see, god can only heal what we're willing to reveal. Right? He knows it. But, you know, have have you guys dealt with children who are trying to hide something, and you already know that they're hiding something, but you wanna give them an opportunity to tell the truth instead of you pointing it out, I feel like that's how he treats his children. He's like, okay.
Edna Harding [00:26:09]:
I know sin exists. I know these are your weaknesses. You could either confess it now, or I'm gonna have to bring it out later, and it's gonna be a harder lesson. Do you wanna have a easier lesson or the harder lesson? Right? So I want you guys to look at Peter. You know, Jesus warned him about his upcoming denial. Right? Remember, Jesus told Peter, you're gonna deny me 3 times. Not to condemn him, but to prepare him. And then what happened? Peter's journey of facing that failure made him stronger in the end.
Edna Harding [00:26:42]:
Because why? It prepared him for a season of leadership and growth. Right? The question is, are you willing to let God put a finger on your weakness so you can grow? Or are you busy justifying them just so you could stay stuck? Right? Confronting your weaknesses is huge. Right? You need to be able to, like, really be that person to be like, okay. These are my strengths. These are my weaknesses. I know like, for example, for me, I know I get very example, I'm very impatient. Another weakness of mine is I am such a perfectionist. I want everything to be perfect.
Edna Harding [00:27:26]:
Number 3 is I'm a planner, and I hate surprises. Right? So those are my weaknesses. And and and and when things go according to that goes against those weaknesses, you really see my weaknesses. And so why am I saying this? I'm saying this because you need to address your weaknesses head on because what you're what you're willing to confront what you're not willing to confront, it will continue to stay hidden, and it will get bigger and bigger and bigger to the point that at some point, you're gonna explode. And what could have been prevented like, meaning, will the bigger problem that could have been prevent? The you'll prevent bigger problems later on than if you were to address it now. K? Now I have one more that I wanted to share. Oh, wait. One more time.
Edna Harding [00:28:18]:
Before I go into that, let me give you guys a challenge for this particular piece. I want you guys to ask Scott to show you one area you've resisted change. Just one. And I want you to write down a small action step you can take to address it. Maybe it's seeking forgiveness or finally accepting feedback or maybe admitting that pride has gone in the way. Right? And then here's the key. I want you to share this with a trusted mentor or friend or best friend or your husband or wife who can hold you accountable. You know, trusting others with our weaknesses can be the start of a new season of strength.
Edna Harding [00:29:04]:
Alright. And speaking of mentors, let's go into that. Because I want you guys to think about who you choose to guide you. You know, we live in a world where mentorship is often boiled down to flashy titles and Instagram followers. How many of you guys know I'm telling the truth, or do you think I'm lying? Right? We we it boils down to titles and Instagram followers or, who's popular, who's famous. But let me tell you guys something, and this has been a game changer in my life. Real mentorship isn't about status. It's about substance.
Edna Harding [00:29:49]:
It's about finding people who can speak into your life with truth even when it stings a little. You know, when I was asking God for mentors, I started out in the corporate world, and I was going after, like, these CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies, and they're really established. And, you know, I got wisdom from them. Yes. I learned a lot, but it was kinda like a shallow type of wisdom. It it didn't hit me in the core. Like, it didn't hit me in my spirit. It didn't hit me in my heart.
Edna Harding [00:30:24]:
Like, it it didn't transform me from the inside out. Right? And then over the years, God led me to some amazing men and women of god, mentors, Paul Cooney, Leroy Heine, Rusty Jordan, who I pray with regularly. I also, Lori not Lowie. Lois, And then oh gosh. I just forgot her name. I just went blank. Gosh. How do I not remember? I'm so sorry.
Edna Harding [00:30:57]:
Oh my gosh. My brain just went blank. I could see your face, but I can't see your can't see your name. I mean, I can't Laurie. Laurie. Laurie. That's why. It's Lois and Laurie.
Edna Harding [00:31:07]:
That's kinda funny. But these are spiritual mothers and fathers that I highly respect, that I personally have a relationship with, that has poured into me and has mentored me in areas that I've been weak at. And understanding that these individuals may not be known by the world, but they are known by heaven, And these are the people that are pouring into me made a huge difference in my walk and my challenges and even in my successes because I realized that none of that stuff really matters. Okay? I realized that, you know, we'll just be we're here for a season. We're here for a short amount of time, and our job is to steward our time well. Our job is to steward our spheres of influence well. Our job is to steward, the relationships, you know, that we have well. Our job is to raise up our family well.
Edna Harding [00:32:12]:
Right? There's a lot of different things that are more important than the accolades and the bank accounts and all those things. It's all about impact, internal impact. And when I got when I truly grasped that and when I realized that, wow, these men and women of God are fulfilled. Yes. They go through challenges. Yes. They have hard times, but they're really walking into the calling of who God intended them to be. And they have this keen ear and and eyes and spirit that that they really hear the voice of God and with accuracy.
Edna Harding [00:32:50]:
And it just challenged me to, like, desire that, to want that more, and to know that I'm not a lone ranger desiring these things, like, the things that I desire. And mind you, yes, I can, you know, go on YouTube and look at the, you know, the most greatest and most popular profit or most, you know, views. You know? I love It's Supernatural. I love Sid Roth. I love, Jonathan Khan. I love, oh, Joseph. See, I love all of these individuals who speak the heart of the father, but I may never meet them ever. Right? And, you know, but what happens is we end up, you know, using them as mentors.
Edna Harding [00:33:36]:
When in reality, if we really look around you, there are people within, like, a, like, a hand touch or just a connection that will could be the secret weapon to your destiny if you just had to discernment to see that God has already surrounded you with relationships, and you're here going after this person on LinkedIn or this person on Instagram or this person on YouTube and you're learning from them when in reality, it it doesn't have to be that far away touched. Like, you could be you could shorten your journey towards the divine destiny by just having the right relationships in your life who sees what God sees in you. Right? That's the key. They need to be able to see the destiny that God has for you. Okay? Not just destiny as a whole. Like, there's a personal like, it's like a chain. Like, if you once you get linked up, things just start accelerating because they were sent they were helpers that sent to help you with your destiny, sent to help you with your calling. We talked about oh, I don't think I talked about that in the last episode, but I did do a post on LinkedIn about the difference between your calling and your gifts.
Edna Harding [00:34:55]:
And, essentially, your calling requires relationships and requires divine connections to help you reach your calling. You can't do it on your own. You need God's help, and you need other brothers and sisters in Christ who will or they might not even know God, but relationships that's gonna partner with you to fulfill the vision and mission God has for you. Okay? Now I want you guys to think about Joshua real quick. Before he led the Israelites, he learned from Moses, and it wasn't a glamorous role. Right? It prepared him. He trusted the process and the man God placed over him. So when his time came, he was ready because he was faithful with the little like, I remember someone said, like, if you don't have a vision that serve someone that has a vision, and I've done that for many years.
Edna Harding [00:35:49]:
I've supported so many ministries with their vision until God gave me my own vision, his vision for my life. And since then, I've been focusing on that. So I want you to just really think about that. Like, do I have a vision, a clear vision? If not, who has a clear vision that God wants me that God wants to send me to to collabor with them and help them with their vision and support them with your giftings and and use it as a sacrifice of praise, as a sacrifice of gratitude, and a sacrifice of service and be like, hey. I'm not gonna charge you. I just wanna support you. I just wanna help you with what God is doing because I'm seeing the fruits of God's, God's anointing, God's purposes in your life. So I wanna ask you, are you trusting mentors who tell you what you wanna hear or those who tell you what you need to hear? You need people that's gonna sharpen you.
Edna Harding [00:36:50]:
Like, I remember, funny thing, I was speaking with a fellow intercessor, a watchman on the wall. Her name is Monica. And I was talking to her about, you know, my husband, how he's, you know, he's, well, he got assigned to another program, and, basically, he has to move again. And, when I say he has to move again, like, basically, he has to go in school, and I was telling him, I'm not move I was telling her, I'm not moving with him. He's gonna he's gonna move by himself. I'm gonna stay put because I'm tired of moving because I got tired. I literally got I'm tired of moving, guys. We've been moving every year, okay, because military.
Edna Harding [00:37:29]:
And she's like, that's not biblical. And she corrected me flat out. Like, that's your husband. He needs you to support him and be there for him and war with him during those times that, you know, whatever program. And I was like, man, why do I have to surround myself with people who are truthful? You know? Because and that's what the key is. You want people who are willing to, protect you by speaking truth with you and love and not being afraid whether you you're gonna like him or not, be angry at them, but are gonna speak truth because they fear God more than you. Right? That's the kind of mentors and coaches you need. Those are the people or advisers or friends, like, people that that because let me just put it this way.
Edna Harding [00:38:21]:
The people you trust in this season and this is so huge because we're coming into a season where you're not gonna be able to figure things out on your own, and you really need divine connections and divine relationships and divine wisdom. This is not like a silo. I we we I remember I went through a silo season where it's all me. But then because of the next level that where God is taking me, he said, I can't do it on my own. I need relationships. I need intercessors, which I have amazing intercessors, prayer warriors who pray for me on a daily. But you need these relationships and who you let into your life, who you share your vision with, who you allow to speak into you. Right? These all play a role, and this will determine the speed or the destruction, right, of your destiny.
Edna Harding [00:39:14]:
Right? So this is really key. Alright. So today, I want you guys to find a person. My my challenge for you today is find one person this week who has the wisdom you need, someone who's a few steps ahead in life or in business, or in spiritual. Right? And ask them for a specific question about an area you want to grow in. K? Don't seek validation. You need to seek wisdom. Remember, the right mentor won't just tell you you're great.
Edna Harding [00:39:44]:
They'll tell you what you need to change. Okay, guys. Sorry, guys. My your guy is out in the front of my office. And so if you hear that noise, that's what that is. But it's perfect timing because I'm about to close. Okay? So, my friends, as we close this episode, I want you to remember this. Your season is not just about circumstances, my friends.
Edna Harding [00:40:07]:
It's about the choices you make. It's about who you trust to direct your focus, to to fight your battles, to address your weaknesses, and to speak into your life. Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 says, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your path straight. And this is a promise, but it's also a challenge. Are you ready to trust differently in this season? Okay. So, my friends, I want you guys and I really when I say I want you guys, I mean, really do it. I want you guys to take time to pray this week and ask God to show you where you've been trusting the wrong influences.
Edna Harding [00:40:52]:
Okay? Ask him for strength to shift the trust. I believe I truly believe, okay, that as you do this, you'll see the next season unfold before you. One that's filled with God's promises, his peace, and his purpose for your life. I wanna thank you guys again for joining me today on the entrepreneur. If this episode challenged you, share it with a friend. Let's keep the conversation going. And until next time, guys, keep pursuing his purpose. Keep standing on his promises, and keep trusting him with the path forward.
Edna Harding [00:41:28]:
